Hidden

I'm sure most people have heard the expression "hidden in plain view", looking around the my workshop for three days trying to find a hydraulic pipe plug I put down somewhere
Eventually today I found it just laying there at the side of the machine I was working on...in plain view...good thing it didn't have teeth I would have got bite marks off it by now
Unfortunately one my favorite sayings "people look but don't see"...need to practice what I preach lol.
The other favorite saying "people hear but don't listen"

Do that quite often. I knew I'd had it a few minutes ago, somebody must have taken it!!!

And me, it's usually my glasses that some horrible person hides when I'm distracted, and then put them back in a place I've already checked 3 times.

There's strange forces at play here!
I have often looked in the same places several times and not seen what I was looking for and as if by magic pooooof it reappears.

Of course there have been instances were I did know where I'd left an object and it disappeared only to find that Mrs britboy had been "tidying up" after me
In that case it definitely does my head in knowing it was there one minute and gone the next, I think it's Mrs b testing my sanity!

Totally get where you're all coming from, I have a Phd in "looking but not seeing".
