Asda to shed hundreds of jobsThey have their price guarantee which give you a voucher if the price is not 10% cheaper. They are now limiting these vouchers to 10 a month with a total value of £100 I have 7vouchers worth about £20 so far this month. This does not say a lot for Asda pricing if the other big supermarkets are cheaper than them.

All the jobs to go are at their Leeds main office, 300. There are 3000 employed at that site. 3000 at their headquarters makes me wonder what they all do. Would have looked to be necessary when everyone was a pen pusher but nowadays???

It's always sad to hear of redundancies, but I do agree with Anne, there are an lot of people in the Head Office.

I hope anyone unlucky enough to be on the hit list finds alternative employment very soon.
