TV remote controls
They drive me nuts. Why do they have so many buttons, why do they always go missing when you need them, and why can't we scrap all these so called smart TVS. They're not that smart when the grandkids have nicked the remote

"when the grandkids have nicked the remote"

Don't remote control makers know that less is more?
(I do agree when it comes to manual controls on the TV it's a case of less is moan though.)
Things were so much easier when the viewer had far fewer channels to choose from. My Dad's telly remote control when I was little was me.

There's 44 buttons on mine but nothing seems to happen when I press most of them.
I've also got a drawer full of the things if anybody collects them.

i changed channel this morning from Ch 5 to BBC1 for the news but I think I pressed the red button by mistake. I got a menu then for catch up programmes for Ch5. I was quite impressed with that.
