I did Fireplace and I replied that we drive direct to the stadium on matchdays so maybe another time. Did you not see the Anvil reply?

The picture above is clever and gave me a chuckle but is in unnecessarily bad taste even though I can't stand Suarez. I've got to say though fair play to Evra for sticking to his guns, no room for this in football.

police have confirmed that no one has been arrested in connection with the ALLEGED incident so your hysterical posting was obviously incorrect

Hysterical? It's a report from the Guardian newspaper. The player has reported the incident and a supporter in the crowd also heard it. We'll see what happens over the next couple of days when the police have dealt with it.

i doubt the guardian newspaper was printed at the time you made your post 23 01 so you have heard a report on the news and jumped in with both feet

You might not have noticed this Dandy reader but they have online versions of newspapers nowadays if you look closely the item was online at 22:57 last night.

oops having read the ONLINEversion there is still no reference to any arrests so that still makes your post incorrect so there by the way i prefer the Beano

Replied: 7th Jan 2012 at 18:32

Oh well farrie, I always preferred the Beano too, plus the Valiant

It'll get sorted out anyway don't want to keep arguing about it.

Merseyside Police have confirmed tonight they have arrested a man from Aintree for an alleged racially aggravated public order offence at the match last night.

This is a very sad affair and if he is guilty I hope they throw the book at him but we must not forget that out of 40,000 people there could always be one fool no matter what ground the crowd is at.

Let's not paint all Liverpool fans with the same brush.

I can't vouch for them all RD but the ones near me are not that way inclined. Your a fan and it's not like the old days were you could wander about on the terraces. Much easier to police and report any incidents now, the club would know who were sat in those seats and of course more women and families attend football these days. Think the DW was built in 1999?
