One of the most talented sportsman ever to represent a Wigan team.

Sad to see him go but with one year left on his contract this represents decent business.

What, only 9.5 million

Villa only pay half a million more on top of their original offer of nine million to get N'Zogbia, whereas Whelan ends up paying Bolton a extra million on top of the Latic's original offer of three million for Al Habsi.

A net gain of only five and half million to buy better players.

From where?

Was the fee given for Ali?

Why do you always try and put a negative slant on anything to do with Latics,RD?

Stick with Bolton...and your shed loads of debt.

Only stating a fact!

The Latic's should have got at least twelve million for him.

And why bring debts into it when all the Premiership clubs's have debts?

Well it looks like Charlie has gone,he really is a good player and good luck to him in the future.
It's difficult to get the full value for players in their last year of their contracts and also get the best out of whom you sign!
Boselli hasn't worked out well so far,but he is out again on a profitable loan deal,so in the outgoings and incomings DW is not doing too bad!
Some local clubs lost players they paid a lot of money for for nothing!

Can't doubt his ability so maybe it's down to attitude?
