The term Hoggy has variously been applied to Steve Ogrisovic, the former goalkeeper, and also to Brian Hogan who was a St. Helens and Wigan prop at the end of the sixties and early seventies. Graeme Hogg, an old Man United centre back was also known as Hoggy.

Bill,
I have just checked and he did have a couple of spells at Widnes. Your memory serves you well.;

Maybe Tait, Elwell, Davies, Wright, George, Burke, Bowden, Adams, O’Neill, Dearden, Foran, Woods. Maybe I am crossing into two good teams there. Plus Hogan and Mills of course. Always a nice reception at Naughton Park. Just remembered Dutton and Hughes.
