Rugby League in denial...

What a farce!

And what a bloody awful fix.

Hang your heads in shame...

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Get bed you pr***. You dislike Rugby so concentrate on your teamís survival.

Tut, tut...Stay off the Maple Pale Ale, Billy boy...

Jarvo,
I am in Tenerife so on ( cheap according to Giroman) Dorada plus a bit of Russiaís finest.

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse
Boardy being nasty AGAIN.

Tenerife...must be boring, you're on here all the time.

amazingly for this Leyther I have to agree with Jarvo, fixed it is,the corrupt RFL and their corrupt officials have bent over backwards to put Toronto Wolfpack into a prime position to enter Super league,Hicks last evening was a good example ,let's see next Season if they're in top tier if all the other super league teams will put up with the crap forced on the Championship Clubs this season, I very much doubt it, the present Toronto team won't live with some of the other Super league teams like Saints ,and Wigan, Leneghan and Macmanus will do nowt but moan ,bent as a nine bob note the bloody lot of em

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
...I rest my case...

Thank you.

How is Wolves season going? Are you going to win the PL? No because after a handful of games it is two horse race. Donít you just love how competitive the PL is?

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
2-0!

Eighth and climbing...

Night, Billy boy...

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Good result. I had them to win 1-0 on my predictor.

Posted by: peter g (2057)  Report abuse
Let's hope Hull KR beat Widnes by more than 14 points and London (never thought I'd say this) beat Toronto in the play off game for Rugby Leagues sake.

Posted by: i-spy (14033)  Report abuse
My money is on Toronto

Posted by: baker boy (14070) Report abuse
stop the crap, two up two down all divisions.

Posted by: peter g (2057)  Report abuse
Me too I-spy but I want London to stop them.

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
Yes, put your entire estate on Toronto because it's fixed.

However, the bookies have cancelled all bets on this fixture.

What an absolute disgrace!

RL is done for.

Sad times.

Posted by: baker boy (14070) Report abuse
why dont we just sit back and watch the game ,then decide the ref,s bent

Posted by: tuddy (951) Report abuse
So, it wasn't fixed after all. Did anybody put their estate on it?

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
I know someone who wonít have. That full back off Broncos had a very good game.

Posted by: builderboy (2012) Report abuse
Well done London. You have saved me a fortune for next season AND proved Jarvoís conspiracy theory wrong.

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
I would have met you there Phil.

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
What the hell happened?

Is that the end then for Toronto?

Posted by: Handsomeminer (1432) Report abuse
A great weekend of rugby league once again the bard proved to be talking cack

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Handsomeminer,
Correct. As they used to say "what can you expect from a pig except a grunt"

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
So Toronto was a red herring after all?

Thank God for that...

What say you, Peawapp?

Posted by: i-spy (14033)  Report abuse
Peawapp will be happy

Posted by: peawapp (4968)  Report abuse
Peawapp is happy although they tried their best for toronto ,after 1 minute 19 seconds the video Ref took an absolute age to decide that it was an offside decision when they tried their best to give Toronto a try, Ackers should have walked for that high tackle and McCrone has got a big gob, my Wife said I should have been supporting Toronto for our ex players and coach, but as I pointed out there were also two ex Leigh players on the bronco's team ,Pellissior and the wigan lad Tom Spencer ,who put in some superb performances for the Leythers ,so I was pleased for those two, more inportantly now is what's afoot at Leigh

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Peawapp, You can now turn your attention to collecting coppers again for Leigh. I see that poor, misunderstood forward of yours has to appear before a RL tribunal yet again.

Rumour has it there will be a new coach at Toronto.

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Just read that Walker, the Bronco's full back, broke three fingers ( one was dislocated) in the first few minutes. Can you imagine if that had happened at poofball. Oxygen, game held up for ten minutes and his testimonial would have already been organized.

Posted by: Handsomeminer (1432) Report abuse
He looked a very good player in the making read the game exceptionally well

Posted by: tuddy (951) Report abuse
Yep, they tried their best for Toronto, even went as far as disallowing three tries.

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
...It's over, for now.

And next season?

Anyone's guess.

Posted by: peawapp (4968)  Report abuse
this Season hasn't finished yet, the bent Burghers at the RFL will be looking for a way to put Toronto in Super league before next season starts ,Rowley is yeaterdays man now (who cares) if McDermott gets the job which looks likely He won't do owt, cos He only won things with a team He inherited ,this toronto team are a bunch of thugs, Leigh will now have to start from scratch it will take a year or so to get into gear, unless of course I win the lottery ,the fact that Jamie Acton got a five match ban for nowt speaks volumes

tuddy they wern't tries though were they, what they did do was take a gods age over every video decision hoping they could find a way to award them

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Glad the season is almost over peawapp. Your obsession with Toronto is getting to affect your judgement. You have now got a team in SL that has a ground not up to scratch. Donít worry a bit of scaffolding and some boards will sort that. The fact they will rarely fill the ground is irrelevant. They will probably bring the usual 100 North for away games. Are you telling me that is progress. On the other hand Toronto have real money backing them. They have a ground up to scratch and would easily get 10,000 to attend. It makes no difference to SL clubs where they travel as they are full time. They would have been looked after. In all probability Toronto and London will swap places next year anyway.

Posted by: peter g (2057)  Report abuse
I hope London swap places with Bradford or Widnes next year and make Widnes get rid of that pitch.

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
London beat Toronto fair and square and they deserve to be in SL.

Surely?

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Has someone said they didnít/.shouldnít be?? I donít think it does SL any favours admitting a team with mediocre grounds and attendances. They have enough of those already. As I have said numerous times I am not pushing for Toronto but they would have brought more to the table than London.

Posted by: i-spy (14033)  Report abuse
Toronto must be kicking themselves. Saved probably their worst performance for the most important game of the season. A bit like Saints really.
And it'll be interesting to follow London's fortunes next year.

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Average London attendance last season was 856.

Posted by: jarvo (28682)  Report abuse
...And Wiggin's?
