He's a Marmite sort of player but they are guaranteed a few laughs.

Interim head coach Francis Cummins told the club website Gelling was a "top target" and an "X Factor" signing.

"He has ability to produce something out of nothing," Cummins added.

"Players of his quality are few and far between, and we are excited that he will be representing our club."

I don't think Mr. Cummins will be there long.....

Gelling costantly cheats his way through matches ,I personally have seen him kick another ball on to the field of play designed to halt play to halt the oppositions assault on the wigan line I have seen him heading the ball to stop the play (Gamesmanship He calls it ) he likes to think He is the bees knees (He isn't ) He is as I suggested a cheat, against broadys advice I will mention Toronto, they are coached by Mr Morals who enticed several Leigh players away from the club to play for Toronto Bratpack ,including Emmitt (Jake the snake)and Kay (the caveman) also I would like to say that any championship team forced to play against the bratpack are made to travel on the Thursday before they play on the Saturday, are placed in student accomodation miles from the ground without any training facilities, aren't really looked after like Toulouse and Catalans look after their opponents in hospitality, are heavily favoured by the RFL and the referees ,and when they reach super league as they will, will find that the likes of St Helens, Leeds ,Warrington and wigan wont stand for that treatment, and their very existence will be thankfully short lived, they will disappear without trace in the very near future hopefully, I won't reply to Jarvo's childish comment as I regard anyone who supports a fith rate Midland's Wendyball team as inconsequential
