I think he's past his best now and would struggle to hold down a wing spot at Wigan now with our four wingers Davis, Marshall, Burgess and Manfredi.

According to reports he is only 26. Shouldn’t be over the hill at that age. IMO he will be a good signing for Warrington. Along with Lineham they have a good pair of wingers.

He didn't seem interested in his last season with us at all and seemed to have lost quite a bit of pace broady.

I don't think he was very happy in Union. Wingers in that game generally see little of the ball. I hope he gets on well at Warrington, although I agree with peterg - he wouldn't have much chance against the four he names.

that's an offensive comment Tommy! Nobody can criticise a man with a young family for taking a gamble with union. It didn't work out which is a shame but he still has some years left in him. I always liked Charnley but I hope he's not that good at Warrington!
