I'm nearest I win so whats the prize a Blue Peter badge or a chocolate frog. Roy don't forget this is a rugby town.

If it had been Wigan stick Saints you could have doubled that figure and still called it a 'poor turnout'!

Tonker if it had been Wigan Athletic v Liverpool in the top division you could have doubled the Bank Holiday attendance. What does that prove?

Posted by: tonker (19475)   Report abuse
It seems to prove that Liverpool fans outnumber Wigan Athletic fans by three to one?

Posted by: bluesfan (1507)  Report abuse
They do that's true but why compare a 3rd division game to a top division rugby crowd?

That's what I miss at Xmas tonker Wigan v Saints on boxing day and Wigan v Wire on New Years day on the old grounds that we had then.

Im peter g beryl Leeds play Wakefield every boxing day why can't we play Saint's instead of sending a team of kids to lower league grounds

Posted by: fossil (6630) Report abuse

Posted by: peter g (1991)  Report abuse

Peter. Wigan sticking Saints on Boxing day, in a friendly match, is logical. It would make sense and would be enjoyed by all. And there lies the problem!
