]If city are so good they won't need to buy any new players in the January window, also the team they played had their best players on the bench. Sorry to let you know your wrong again.

Presumably the Carawhateveritiscalled cup is now once again relegated from being a major trophy, worthy of being included in a "treble" of sorts, to a Mickey Mouse trophy.

If City win it I would still regard it as a second tier trophy.

Having said all that it would be nice to win it as a consolation if we can't win a proper one.

its no wonder the main culprits have gone missing, many a time i was scoffed at for merely telling them their team is now crap, but the reality of me being right all along has hit them like a sledge hommer, they have officially become the scousers having nothing to gloat about but past glorys,i ve listened to a lot of interviews lately with the match GOING united fans and they have nothing but praise for the way city are playing, its only THE PLASTIC FANS WHO NEVER GO TO MATCHES THAT SCOFF? but least said about them the better,as for the carabao cup

THEY DID NOT WANT IT ANYWAY

LG, telling them their team was crap, just remind everyone how many trophies that crap team won last year and how many city won. The one thing your right about followers hiding when their team have a bad run, one has lately rejoined after a couple of years when their team was crap, mainly in the champions league. Some only sing when they are winning.

bryan thats my point exactly united won three trophys last season but they were not the trophys they really wanted, but i suppose if someone was expecting 20 quid in a birthday card and got a penny they would be disappointed but at least they got summat eh?

bryanp121, your pathos increases with every post, just let it go, your chosen topic of goad is not even a very good one. If you are going to goad at least do it well or don't bother, it just makes you look daft (again).

Another thing that makes you look daft is clinging onto the idea that these are trophies to be particularly proud of. Real utd fans, you know, the ones that actually go to games and know a bit about football, tend to agree that the Europa was simply a means to get into the Champs League by the tradesmens' entrance.

LG, in the interests of balance, utd aren't crap, they are second in the league and in the last 16 of the Champs League. You can't do that and be crap. Their style of football is tedious to say the least but effective never the less.

The problem they have is that City are head and shoulders above them and the chasing pack. As a result this makes them look crap.

that these are trophies to be particularily proud of..

Feel free to remind everyone how many European trophies City have won, and in which decade of which century that was?

That's funnier than any Christmas cracker joke you'll read in the next few days, a City fan sneering at a European trophy win.

Yes Golden Bear, it was a great day for Wigan.

A day that supporters of all teams should be able to enjoy at least once.

I was both disappointed and very proud at the same time!
