A CHANGE OF MANAGER.??
Started by: broady (12812)   Report abuse
Sadly I missed today’s game ( tequila tasting but not in Ince) but I have spent quite a while reading various reports and I wonder what people think of the current United Manager?? I know there are a lot on here who “keep the faith” but is that to the club or the Manager?? Reading from afar I think opposition managers must love his pre match comments. No need for them to rouse the team as he just needs to post Jose’s comments. He has spent lots of money and is looking to spend £100m + in January. IMO opinion he is overrated and at Chelsea had a bottomless supply of money and it seems to be the case at OT. Arrogant is his middle name. I would really appreciate if FP and Whups didn’t comment as what you two know about football can be written on the back of a first class stamp.

I see two records today at old trafford first one goes to man city for not losing a game in 14 ,the other this was the first game man united have lost at O/T in 40 games in my opinion the game did not live up to the billing on balance the points deservedly went to city .

I think you're over reacting broady, any other season it would be considered an excellent start but City's has been exceptional.
All the big clubs spend big to compete, (he wasn't the biggest spender when he conquered Europe with Porto and Inter)
As for "arrogant" we knew what we were getting when we signed him ("a big personality") and he hasn't let anyone down on that score.

Check the press and fans comments!!! What is with this going into the opposition dressing room because they were “ over celebrating” ?? Bang out of order. They had just “ won the league” bar a catastrophic collapse. Lucky someone didn’t put him on his back.

I only had a glance at the back page on the way out this morning, it just mentioned a bust up in the tunel going off?

You the horrible small minded man are the HYPOCRITE of the forum.

A Liverpool fan all your life then suddenly when you change from KD to KG.

You deny it. A liar and cheat.

Hypocrit wrong spelling you clown.

Posted by: fireplace6899 (10742)  Report abuse
Broady you should realy stick to something that you know about.

Which is NOTHING.

I will back my knowledge of the game both playing and as a manager against your any day.

Just explain your pedigree on football.

The old saying " Show us your medals"

Posted by: broady (12812)   Report abuse
No one is denying your excellent playing career which may have taken you to exotic places like Maghull and Stalybridge Celtic etc. nor do I deny your managerial skills to have taken you to *********** however I have yet to read anything that you have condemned United. When they have been dross you say otherwise and that is what my opinion is based on.

BTW Two “L’s” in really.

hes made that much money out of football, he's going places now

Answers on a postcard please, anybody who can tell me how two people he has on "ignore" can bully him?
And also on the reverse of the postcard can someone explain how a bloke who has been "unfit to work" for god knows how long suddenly becomes Tyson Fury and starts challenging all comers?

bridger chatty it does not take a genius to work out if the 2 people who posted right after i had posted when they were not on ignore were bullying me then its quiet obvious if the 2 bullys who post after i post when they are on ignore are bullying,is that a good enough answer bridger?

Posted by: laughing gravy (3074) Report abuse

Your English Language is a disgrace KD/Lg.

Every time you post you make a -rick of yourself.

Tell the truth. Did you go to school?

If you did your teacher must have been Mickey Mouse.

You last posting would not look out of place in a under threes nursery.

A complete idiot.

Do people not think he is becoming an embarrassment with his after the match ramblings. Why not just say his ploy of playing Zlatan and Lukaku up front together was a catastrophe. Previous game he should have said that the bollox surrounding the injury to Smalling cost them two points.

Posted by: GOLDEN BEAR (3028)  Report abuse
I do believe that the media has gone overboard thus far in the season. A stranger from outside reading all the hype being reported/printed/spoken, would really think that there were only two 2 teams in the premier league, i have not read /heard/anyone make any remarks about catching Man City only Man Unted. Why can't these so-called journalist's write about all the other clubs ,ie why don't they pull their finger's out and try to close the gap ,no it's just united, this and united that it just makes one wonder what do you think ???

Posted by: chatty (5528)  Report abuse
Playing Zlatan and Lukaka together didn't cost them the two goals, he would have to try it at some point why not at home to Burnley?
Their inability to see the game out cost them the full points the game previous.

Posted by: chatty (5528)  Report abuse
Spot on GB, compared to League placings last season United are one of the few teams moving forward.
You would struggle to believe Chelsea are reigning Champs against some of the stick United are getting in the papers.

Posted by: broady (12812)   Report abuse
The lack of a captain to take control on the field cost them a last minute goal and with it two points. Yes they missed goals earlier but they were still leading. Why did he have to play them together at some point?? I see Rojo got two points in the MEN ratings. Are his days numbered?? Do you think there will be a clear out next month??

Posted by: chatty (5528)  Report abuse
To see if they are able to play together.
Would you rather the manager just guess that they can't?

Posted by: laughing gravy (3074) Report abuse
i wonder if chattys mentioned the 2 very dodgy free kicks against burnley and leicester to gift trafford goals to get back in both games or smalling crawling all over one mon in the box penalty not given for burnley

Posted by: chatty (5528)  Report abuse
Rashford had the ball on their wing with two minutes left on the clock he the option to give it inside to Lukaku or take it on down the wing to the corner flag, he did neither he put his foot on the ball and tried to shimmy and got the ball took off him they went down field won a free kick and scored from it.
You could have 5 captains on the field you can't legislate for soneone doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.

Posted by: broady (12812)   Report abuse
Smalling was clearly injured. Why not take him off. They only had ten players so no numerical advantage. If he goes off they have to sort it. As it was they are caught like rabbits in the headlights.

Posted by: chatty (5528)  Report abuse
Smalling didn't play against Burnley!

Posted by: chatty (5528)  Report abuse
Correct broady, he should have come off that was my thoughts at the time.

Posted by: GOLDEN BEAR (3028)  Report abuse
Why thanks Chatty: It is a great feeling when one makes some comment's and ou seem to click with someone with similar views and opinions, as for the other post's i do enjoy reading yours and Grimshaw,Broady's please keep them coming cheersGB.

The inability to see out games is a tad worrying if your like myself, a die hard utd fan..

Against leicester it was evident that concentration levels dropped alarmingly in the last 20 mins or so when we should have controlled the game to the extent the opposition didnt get a smell, not least scoring in added time ,
Same v bristol city .

It was very clear to my eyes we thought game won v leicester rather than go steam roller the opposition..

This is utd we are talking about ,winners of the P L 3 years running .

In jose i trust but surely he must address the worrying lack of natural width and subsquently a lack of quality delivery into the box .

V bristol on one occasion when shaw was on left side in a wide attacking position not one of utd attack players moved a muscle as though surprised at the possibilty of a decent cross ..

Oh for the days of sharpe ,of giggs ,of kanchelsis of beckham et al..

KEEP THE FAITH ..
