If Catalonia goes independent then would Barcelona be kicked out of La Liga....just a thought...perhaps they would apply to join the premiership

Or maybe you lot could jump on another bandwagon?
Didn't take long for a thread about Barcelona to turn into one about the most successful English club of all time.

Be great if barca came to join the premier league.

Visiting the camp nou would revive terrific memories of that fabulous evening in 1999 when utd won the european cup.

A cup which the berties have never even come close to winning

Grimshaw,
I was going to reply but I didn’t know if I would be replying to myself or was your post written by me. I don’t know which of us should be more flattered by the Poet’s remark earlier in the week.

Ditto broady .

I felt that way .should i be flattered or should you .?

Best put it down to someone who supports a team but never goes to watch them even though its an easy trip down the M6 and the A 49.

European 'football' is one thing. The EU is another.
Europe is one of the World's 'continents'.
The EU is a political organisation within Europe.

The UEFA, Union of European Football Associations, is based in Switzerland, which isn't in the EU.

As ever Tonker you are correct. However Israel is classed as being in Asia which takes me back to them playing in European competitions.
