Roy: Skem played in the Cheshire League and later the Northern Premier.

Their record attendance still stands at 7,500 set in 1967 when they reached the Amateur Cup Final.

They drew the first game against Enfield 0-0 at Wembley; but lost the replay at Maine Road 3-0.

Over 55,000 watched the replay including my dad and I.

Skem played at whitemoss in skem ,just off liverpool road.

As i recall it was a well maintained ground .
