I watched Hull Rugby last night and they have a shared pitch and it looked in great condition.

He loves sweeping statements. As a matter of fact he must love sweeping full stop. He seems reluctant to give it up.

HI Broady: I only have one comment with regard the pitch at Hull compared to the DWs ,i believe we all know the age old problem , which is THE DAVE WHELAN STADIUM IS BUILT ON A RUBBISH TIP . It has nothing to do with any other sport it's a simple fact of life it should never have been built on the site in the first place, finally after the result i have now come to the opinion that WIGAN ATHLETIC will be playing in division 1 next term.

Hull football manager was complaining that his pitch was rubbish too and that the stadium shouldn't be shared...playing wise I have to agree...but money wise you have to say it's sensible to share....I would love the rugby to play in 18000 stadium on dry land, but where does the money come from

The KCOM stadium at Hull is owned by the council and was built as a dual purpose sports stadium not dissimilar to the DW. A bit rich for the football club to complain about ground sharing given their income. However, as with the case at Wigan, scheduling a game of rugby the day before a football match is ridiculous.

there must be loads of new stadiums built on industrial sites, getting the drainage right does not depend on geographical position.
look at the new wembley stadium ,i personally do not think the "new" pitch looks anything like as good as the old turf.

Done on the "cheap" no doubt....as per normal about that stadium...it's awful...slabs of concrete makes me cold looking at them...I like Prestons ground...compact and friendly
