SMITHY
Just had a phone call from b/inlaw saying it is one of the papers about rugby league that SMITHY has already agreed terms to rejoin ST.Helens next season, also that Thomas Leuluai is coming back for the warriors but only to play n these top 8 thingy's i still don't understand the format but i would be sad to see smithy go and then who have they lined up for his position next season? Also Wigan sold Greg Burke to Widnes, Is any of it true or what is the latest from the Warriors??

It is all over the papers about Burke. I think Smith is just rumour ( however strong) at the minute.

great to see Leuluai back which gives them cover at Hooker which they have been lacking this season - Powell is just a 'pick up and pass' man at the play the ball and will be out on loan at Whitehaven next season
I for one am not sad to see Smith go
three recent excellent signings from down under bode well for the future

Who's going to do the goalkicking if Smith goes
Replied: 6th Jul 2016 at 21:27
Not like he's been that good a kicker.

I think he has kicked better the last few weeks. The conversion from Manfredi's try last week was very good.

He's the best they've got

That speaks volumes.
Botica, Farrell, Richards, Dobson. We've fallen from grace.

Who has the biggest %age of misses in SL this season?? Clue. It isn't Smith but one from your list. BTW Dobson only kicked 61 goals for Wigan.

In a season that we didn't do very well in
He was one of the reasons we stayed up that season. And I speak as someone who actually went and watched that season, albeit not as much as Tom did. Not a Walsh 'we'.

Early to be on the turps, even for you isn't it?
