F.A.CUP.
Well it's the time of year when the country starts to thinking about putting f/boots away and turn to brushing down of the "tennis racket " and other summery games.
But can you recall the days of the FA CUP? starting on the telly at 10.30 -11..00 o'clock in the morning with all that lengthy build. You would have the commentators walking on the hallowed turf as if they were walking on eggshells, then the funny games they would dream up, Frank Bough, dare i say S.Hall,, Eddie Waring with all the bling! It was as if the day stopped just after noon the cameras going to the teams hotels ,seeing how they had slept, what are they eating ,then going with them on their coach's to arrive at the stadium, the ultimate walk about on "THE TURF" FINALLY the rostrum in the centre of the pitch for the community singing and finish with "ABIDE WITH ME" Then the kick off 3.00pm.
Now we look to Saturday 21/05/16 kick off 5.30pm is there any comparrison with then and now? So just who is going to have the clubs etched on the old JUG??????????

Spot on. This is probably to fit in with TV requirements but the clubs are to blame also as the FA Cup is well down in the pecking order. Top teams turn out reserves most of the time. Not one of this seasons top four are in the final.

...What a sad, sad, life you must have led.
Counting out your pennies, dusting down the insurance policies and inheritance gifts.
Yes, it is true: you're insufferable.

What for not watching football? Bloody rubbish played by overpaid tosspots.
I don't and have never needed to count pennies, I've always had a good well paid job, and have an excellent pension. Never had an insurance policy or an inheritance gift in my life, not even a pot of jam what I have I have worked for, thanks to my good education, it paid better than sweeping the floor.
Here's what the guestbook thinks of you, spiteful, disgraceful human being, well said Kate, it's true he is.

Comments Looking in for some time but unable to join. I feel I must protest at the remarks about disabled carers by someone named Jarvo, his remarks are hurtful to those of us who have no choice in being a carer and his attitude to those unfortunate people are nothing less than spiteful, I suspect it is to get a reaction from others. I have read he is a UNITE representative at his place of work, are these the sort of people a Labour backing union now use to represent the workers and unemployed. He is a disgraceful human being in my eyes with no morals. The welfare of the disabled and sick should and must be the utmost by any government no matter what their policies.

She's certainly right about no morals eh Jarvo? Not a neighbour is she? Ha ha

I have just read on here again that some one seems to "have it in for me" again the point i was making was that i was just thinking back to the old days ,i was not suggesting that they are not on tv or that it's on tv all over the globe i for myself was just sharing with you all what the F.A. cup reminded me of that's all.

Jealous?
You've probably been loveless for the majority of your measured life.
Counting the pennies and reading the small print.
Bum...
