that is Manchester City

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
Not all wasted though, they've emulated Derby County's achievement of reaching a Semi

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse

Pity that Utd can't even qualify these days.

They are a busted flush.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse

Never mind CALLING football teams, I notice there was no congratulations off you for the team you "followed in the Northern Premier" and "used to have a season ticket for"?

Strange that one.

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse

It will be a long time before the Wolves play in it.

Good stats Chatty, yet another stat says Utd spent over a billion pounds since 1992....we could be at it forever...the point I was trying to make was the seemingly childish/playground comments FP posts about other teams...maybe that's the way it is but it just seems a bit pointless to me. Utd have been a fantastic team for years, mainly due to Fergie and his astute buying and management style (not forgetting the magic players coming through all at the same time and going on to be great players)so just be thankful they are still up there and even have a chance to qualify for the CL..

Champions League, yer avin a laugh!

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse

Well well well, Rip van Lord Lucan turns up out of the ether just when City "achieve" again, not a fair weather friend at all are you!

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse

Tell us all again your username had nothing to do with City finally winning something since Adam was a lad!

Posted by: 0 years (2440) Report abuse
Enjoy you Thursday nights, hopefully you will beat Bournmouth 18 nil and just lose out on goal difference........again! Funny as.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
Always wise after the event,5 minutes after the final whistle (again), so your attempt at world domination has now dropped to beating United to fourth spot!

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
now if only you had taken my bet,

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse

Still waving my hard earned tax in my face I see.

Posted by: 0 years (2440) Report abuse
Yes, Chatty I agree, it is sad that all we have got to crow about is the League cup, semi finals of the Champs League and beating an inferior club to a top four spot. We must try harder!

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse

Yes finally reached the Semi of the European Cup, emulating Derby County, and a step further than Burnley managed, and yet we're an "inferior club".

Battery is running low, back to Colymore. Have a great summer.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse

Are you back for good or are you going to disappear again until/if City managed to get out of the group stages?

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
BUMP!

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
how did your team do in the champions league chatty?

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
We wont win it either this year, just like the club that was going to "dominate Europe within 5 years"!

Posted by: grimshaw (617)  Report abuse
Strange tactics last evening from pep,

Defensive first half and just sat back and allowed monaco to dominate .

ANOTHER sad evening for the berties.

Oh dear.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
All about game management grim, the strange tactics were if you need to kill a game don't start with six forwards.
pep was saying before the game "we have to score tonight" no they didn't they were winning two nil.
Jose showed last night, do what is needed to get the job done!

Posted by: grimshaw (617)  Report abuse
One or two hairy moments last night chatty but steady as you go must be the message from jose .

We are still bang in the mix with regards to a top four spot

.Keep the faith .in jose we trust .

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
bleating about struggling to beat part timersbtw no mention of all the empty seats then? thowt not

Posted by: xxstuartxx (5705) Report abuse
What must it be like to be such experts like Grimshaw and Shatty.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
Or so bitter like laughing stock and xxstupidxx

Posted by: grimshaw (617)  Report abuse
The a b u brigade emerge,

Akin to dung beetles on a manure pile .

Bitter berties ,How very sad.

Posted by: xxstuartxx (5705) Report abuse
Experts.............

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
Saddest thing is grim you could write on the back of a postage stamp what the pair know about football.

laughing stock reckons he once had a season ticket for the Latics but is too embarrassed to tell anybody when.

And xxstupidxx once bragged on here that he'd been as far as Blackburn watching a football match!

Posted by: broady (12473)   Report abuse
As United fans do you really think they are consistently producing good football? Apart from the odd flash I am disappointed in Pogba. How Jose said he was the best player on the pitch last Monday amazes me. I would be obliged if the ABU brigade didn't answer as their views are already well known.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
Not producing "good football" by a long chalk, but give Jose time to turn the ship around, grinding out results without being outstanding, unbeaten in a meaningful game with a full compliment of players since October.
It still isn't his team even though some big money has been spent on the players that have come in so far.
Pogba has been bought for the next 10 years not the last 10 months, you can't blame him for the fee he will come good, typical Jose after the match coming out with comment that deflect from the result!

Posted by: grimshaw (617)  Report abuse
Blackburn won the premier with poor football.Lumped the ball forward to s and s to scrap for supported by midfield.

Not good to watch but it won the league for them .

I concur re pogba .but i recall people like gary pallister coming to o t and struggling to come to terms in first season but then emerging as a terrific player so dont lose faith in pogba..i for one think he will come good at utd.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
For any player coming to United I have always said give them the first year for "free", very few players hit the ground running at OT the two obvious exceptions being Zlatan and Eric.

Posted by: broady (12473)   Report abuse
Hope you are both right. Bad time to go to Boro, just after they sacked the coach. Teams tend to lift their game then. Prime example Leicester.

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
redspecs grimshaw wrote "Blackburn won the premier with poor football.Lumped the ball forward to s and s to scrap for supported by midfield."

HAHAHAHA did i read that right???

NO MENTION OF VAN HIRE AND MOANIO LUMPING THE BALL FORWARDS TO BOG BRUSH YED AND BIG NOSE

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
"Bog Brush Yed"and "Big Nose" weren't there when "Van Hire" was there

See what I mean about on the back of a postage stamp.

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
READ THE ABOVE AGAIN CHATTY DID I NOT SAY VAN HIRE AND MOANIO???

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
Read my post again Which part is wrong????

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
OH AND BY BOG BRUSH I MEAN FELLAINI AND YOU MENTION STAMPS

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
So who is big nose then?

A postage stamp is too big.

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
WHO PLAYS UP FRONT IS SWEDISH AND HAS A BIG NOSE? ANSWERS ON THE BACK OF SAID STAMP

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
The posts before you jumped back in with your childish comments were about Pogba, I have no idea what schoolboy nicknames you have for the players of your obsession but neither Pogba nor Zlatan played under Van Gaal, so even though you never miss a kick of any game the team you " hate" plays you were wrong to ask the question.
Think the stamps been "licked" again.

Posted by: xxstuartxx (5705) Report abuse
And xxstupidxx once bragged on here that he'd been as far as Blackburn watching a football match!

This is an untrue statement, isn't it Stumpy?

Trawl through all the previous posts and find where I said just Blackburn. I'd do it myself but can't be bothered doing something so tedious, were as you seem to revel in that kind of behavior. Must be something to do with not having a job.

Speaking of Blackburn...........

It was 20 years ago on Thursday that Blackburn Rovers claimed the Premier League title at Anfield, despite losing 2-1 to Liverpool on the final day of the season an afternoon on which Manchester United were held 1-1 at West Ham to concede the trophy by a single point.
Courtesy of the Daily Telegraph.

A lot of people celebrated that day.

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
You did.
My name isn't stumpy
I can't be arsed
I don't
I do have a job.
A lot of people also didn't.

Barring the above inaccuracies not a bad post for you.

I do believe i've hit a nerve.

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
chatty out of fellaini or pogbad whose hair resembles a bog brush the most?

Posted by: laughing gravy (2296) Report abuse
also chatty if i'd paid a 100 million for a cruise liner i'd want it to be cruising today not in 3,5 or ten years time, why dont you andmit your team had their pants well and truly pulled down

Posted by: chatty (5030)  Report abuse
3 years 5 years 10 years? Whenever it is he will come good long before you tell everyone exactly what years you had your season ticket for the Latics.
