Grimmy: Come on lad, you can do better than this...

Are things so bleak at Old Trafford these days that you must keep looking back in time?

Bestie is long dead. And Kiddo is with the enemy.

Cheer up. You're making me depressed.

...Oh, thanks.

Posted by: 0 years (3429) Report abuse
You're welcome.

It will be interesting to see how Wolves do in the Europa. Personally, I think they will do very well. Teams in the top seven in the EPL are, in the main, far better than those in the same positions in Europe. It could be an ideal opportunity for Wolves to make the leap into the Champions League for the following season......seriously. In a tournament such as that you just need a bit of luck, as Spurs and Liverpool know only too well.

Wolves had a superb season and are where they are out of merit, to the surprise of most bar the Wolves fans.

Watch LFC do it saturday for the 6th time. YNWA

Posted by: 0 years (3429) Report abuse

That would really ruin their season.

City cleaning up at home and Liverpool winning in Europe.

Posted by: chatty (6720)  Report abuse
Absolutely comical

Stop trying to grab some reflected glory off the European finalists.
It's the Champions League final, it's nothing to do with you and never has been

Posted by: Tiger cat (202) Report abuse
0 years says you only need a bit of luck, that or a sugar daddy.

whats the difference in manchester.
CITY have a bloke who has owner spends his dosh on the team .
UNITED have the glazers, who borrowed cash to make a few bob for themselves..

Posted by: grimshaw (1715)  Report abuse
The difference you ask .
Research what the berties are under investigation for by Uefa AND the F A .

Thats the difference .

Posted by: jarvo (29244)  Report abuse
...Very sour grapes...

Posted by: grimshaw (1715)  Report abuse
Not at all jarvo .

The reverse is the case .

Sounds like you are a miserable sod .

Posted by: 0 years (3429) Report abuse
What's the difference in Wigan World.

CITY have a poster who has just renewed his season tickets (plural) for next season.

YOONITED have posters who are armchair supporters and wouldn't know their way to old scaffold.

Onwards and upwards with THE FOURMIDABLES!

That's a very coherent and well thought out retort aussi94.

Hardly the master/mistress in the art of witty repartee now are we?

Posted by: Tiger cat (202) Report abuse
No, it's not 0 years, but it sums you up perfectly.

formidables is now istory acording to you . and learn who to spell.

Well there we go.

Posted by: jarvo (29244)  Report abuse
Grim: You seem to be spending too much time in damp and dirty northern seaside towns.

Come back into the 'City'...

Things have changed so much...

I'm quite sure you can get used to it.

Posted by: 0 years (3429) Report abuse
whups,

"Fourmidables" is not a spelling mistake it is the name City are referred to by both themselves and sections of the media following their magnificient sweep of all four (yoonited consider the community shield a trophy) trophies. How embarrassing for you!

Also, it is not history until another team takes those trophies off us next season, we will be The FOURmidable CHAMPIONS until then. This time next season it will be history.

Learn to read......and understand how football works.

P.S. It is "how" to spell, not "who" to spell.

Oh, and according has two c's.

Well there we go.

Posted by: laughing gravy (4657) Report abuse
tiger will you be laughing if it becomes 6-3 later?..

Posted by: Tiger cat (202) Report abuse
If liverpool win they will have won 2 champions leagues, just like United, if spurs win they will have 1 champions league, they don't play European cup games anymore, I think it changed over in 1992, or there about.

Cant wait for 8.00pm ,British soap awards 2019 ,

Posted by: TerryW (1738) Report abuse
Some people should remember to put brain into gear before engaging mouth, if a brain is available.

Posted by: laughing gravy (4657) Report abuse
its still the european cup..6-3 20-18 by my reckoning that gives liverpool the lead..

Posted by: Tiger cat (202) Report abuse
LG, what's the name of the trophy, that might give you a clue, you can phone a friend if you are still in any doubt.

Posted by: 0 years (3429) Report abuse

"i,m talking about the way you spell YOONITED ?"

Of course you are whups of course you are. What a load of nonsense which only the yoonited sycophants will back you up on.

Talking of which, welcome to their group of sycophants TerryW. I thought you were more intelligent than that, it just proves how wrong one can be. I'm disappointed in you, go to the back of the class.

Whups, it's strange how you feel the need to point out my spelling of yoonited now, even though I have been spelling it that way for years.

Admit it, you got burned. Deal with it.

Posted by: TerryW (1738) Report abuse
I have a rag here for you 0 years to wipe the egg of your face. Blagging your way out of that one won't work.

Posted by: 0 years (3429) Report abuse
That isn't nice Terry calling yourself a rag (however accurate), but I doubt you will be aware of the yoonited historical connotations, no doubt being another armchair "supporter".

Iíve been following some of the other threads you have been party to, topics which arenít particularly of interest to myself.

It seems that on the frequent occassions that others tie you in knots with their more measured contributions, contributions which often result in harmless banter, you tend not to handle it very well and this has been noted by many.

Itís a shame, as I feel that given a touch of restraint and tolerance you could develop into a valuable contributor to the site.

Hopefully it is something you can work on and improve upon, after all itís for your own benefit and we only have your best interests at heart.

I canít, and wouldnít speak for contributors on general threads, but on the sports threads we donít take it too seriously. I crow childishly when my team performs better, as do the others when theirs do the same, maybe you could learn to do the same with humility.

The yoonited contingent are, in the main, all intelligent blokes and give as much as they get, if not more. This isnít politics or religion, itís just football.

Point is, I tend not to attack but react. On this thread I responded to whupsís unsolicited insult with forthright banter but I wasnít the first to poke. You then chose to stick your oar in. This is your perogative and hopefully in future your contributions will be both accurate and relevant.

It is interesting to view your opinions, however weak, but be assured that should you attempt to engage me in banter you will ALWAYS come off second bestÖÖÖÖ..see, banter, not difficult now is it?

Only playing Terry, don't take any of the above seriously, just like everyone's posts, it's all nonsense......and banter. Good to engage!

Posted by: TerryW (1738) Report abuse
My apologies 0 Years, I had forgotten all about this. Don't worry about offending or upsetting me with words on a screen, it never happens, so do carry on. I take all with a large pinch of salt what people say or do on websites even when it's obviously banter I may or may not take offence, depending on what mood I'm in So thank you for your kind words.

Yours

The Devils Advocate Himself.
