I didn't watch it, unlike you i've no concern for teams I have no interest in, but Latics played earlier in the day didn't you used have a season ticket for them?
Come on give us a match report

Posted by: grimshaw (1279)  Report abuse
I would imagine you will have had a good few sovs on the berties to win the C l then laughing stock.

Perhaps you have them in a double with your fav team the Latics to get promoted .

Taxi for Pep .

Taxi for Pep.

In the unlikely event of United not going on a stupendous unbeated run till now and the end of season and winning the League by 10 points, nothing would please me more than City srcapeing the title and stopping our true rivals from down the East Lancs road getting closer to the most succesfull club this land has ever known!

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Double bubble.

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Straw grasping at it's finest!

Posted by: Tiger cat (88) Report abuse
It might seem like that to you 0 years but ask any United fan or follower who they would rather win the league in city or Liverpool and and there is only one answer, CITY.
City are only just starting out on the road to trophies, United and Liverpool have been big rivals for many years.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
grimshaw peps your worst nightmare is'nt he..

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
"City are only just starting out on the road to trophies"

I think you'll find that City won a domestic trophy before yoonited and a European trophy before Liverpool.

Posted by: grimshaw (1279)  Report abuse
What makes you think he is our worst nightmare laughing stock..?.

He will be off in a Gorton cab when the berties fail to win the C L this season..again.

Posted by: Tiger cat (88) Report abuse
0 years, and there was little else for many years, it's not about who won the first trophy, it's about how many trophies they have won in their history, the same word you keep putting on here about United,

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
That wasn't a bit of that there 'istree' you keep rabbiting on about was it 0 Champs Leagues?

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Touche tiger.

Posted by: Tiger cat (88) Report abuse
Just been on the news, city caught with their pants down, over spent and trying to hide it, and some on here say they don't buy trophies, I await Kelly's dad's reply on this one, no doubt we will get some good excuse off 0 years,

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
TC, let me repeat for the umpteenth time for those of you who are hard of thinking:

CITY HAVE BOUGHT ALL OF THEIR TROPHIES!

There, now copy and paste that statement onto a word document and every time you are about to come out with the same old tiresome nonsense just read it.

City, bought all the trophies because they had more money to spend at the time just like yoonited did and Chelsea did.

No secret, no excuses and I think it is wonderful!

As for being "caught with their pants down" this is very old news so don't get too excited.

Chatty, we all quote istree when it suits our argument.

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Yea you just don't have much to quote from.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
tiger cat one qestion for you,how many times has trafford broke the transfare record? ENOUGH SAID..

Posted by: Tiger cat (88) Report abuse
LG, if it's legal it's ok , city owner has been hiding money under other names and spending it on players, it's not legalif they bend the laws it's not legal , let's hope they are investigated and something is done instead of a small fine like last time,

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
You carry on grasping at that straw TC, there's a good lad.

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Whooooo haaaa another ruined week for the obsessed one!!!

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Still out of the country, it's called the World Wide Web for a reason.
It means you don't have to be sat in a flat in Marsh Green to partake.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
not one plastic was in italy last neet,ANYONE care to explain why?

Posted by: Tiger cat (88) Report abuse
Why have all the expense and time travel when you can sit at home and watch the game on a 50 inch hd tv, all the replays and nice and warm and cosy, also you can see the highlights of the city game and see the serial diver sterling doing what he does best, not only the owner of the club cheating but also his players, something should be done to stop sterling getting away with it week in week out. Neville was spot on when saying city players when they lose the ball they all make silly little fouls to brake up the play and get everyone behind the ball, take notice how many city players go to ground so easy.

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
You are such a silly chap TC.

What life must be like in your bitter and deluded little world one can only wonder!

Are you looking forward to sitting on your backside pretending to be a supporter in your chosen bandwagon's cup final on Sunday?

Posted by: Tiger cat (88) Report abuse
I will be watching it in good company of each side, one of the gents is a life long follower of city, he used to go on a regular basis when at main road,2 others are like myself, used to go regular to old Trafford but not any more, all of us enjoy a pint and some banter about everything, nothing to serious, life's to short, even so I will always express my opinion on here as that's all it is, my opinion.

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Fair play TC.

Enjoy your 50 inch season ticket.

Football is so accessible these days, I don't blame anyone for taking the easier option. Everyone to his/her own. It took me two hours to get to the game last night and an hour to get back. Daft. The matchday experience is definitely better live but the pub is a close second.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
the match experience is summat chatty will never know.

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
My "excuse", the ground was more than "5 minutes" away, what yours?

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
prove you went to brighton west ham bournmouth and juventus by posting a pic of your tickets chatty lets see who's right?

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
No need for me to "prove" anything to someone whos only pleasure in life is to stir up discord on these boards.
I am quite happy for you though to link posts saying I would be attending any of the above, like I can of you saying you had a season ticket for the Latics but still can't bring yourself to tell us for which seasons?

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Do you need a 50/50, ask the audience or to phone a friend (good luck with that one )?

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
chatty post a pic of your ticket for tomorrow thanks..

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse

For someone who has me on "ignore" you don't half ask me to post a lot of things you would be unable to see.

I'll save you from having to type your standard reply, the one you use everytime I point out you've been caught lying again Billybullpoo:

"Can someone tell me has chatty posted his ticket yet?"

I can read you like a book ( a Janet and John that is)

Chatty .

I hate derby day.

Posted by: grimshaw (1279)  Report abuse
You should be enjoying it oyears.

Local competition .

Personally i like derby days win lose or draw.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
LOCAL? TRAFFORD DONT PLAY IN MANCHESTER ARE YOU THICK GRIMSHAW??????

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
However, there are some derby days I hate more than others.

(In my best Crocodile Dundee voice)

That's not a gap!

That's a gap

"We were shi&e till we found a sugar daddy"

City the new Chelsea!

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Yep, we were shi&e and we found a sugar daddy, won the lottery etc etc.

Now we embarrass and humiliate yoonited, win trophies on a regular basis and play the most entertaining football the top division has ever seen.

Life is greeeaaat!

OH, and we don't care, suck it up!

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Mind the.......12 point.......gap!

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Life is greeeaaat!

It didn't sound too great before kick off, more like you needed your pants emptying!

Typical "0 years" always turns up after the event!

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Like I said, I hate some derby days more than others.

Hating derby days stems from the times when we regularly got beat by yoonited.....a bit like yoonited tend to get humiliated by City today.

"Typical "0 years" always turns up after the event!"

At least I turned up to the event!

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
I thought it stemmed from the times your derby was Macclesfield.

How many events have been to when they've lifted European trophies?

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse

taxi for pep...

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Like I said:

Just like the scousers you live in the past.

Posted by: grimshaw (1279)  Report abuse
The cry will echo in east M C when the berties fail to win the C L .

Taxi for Pep .

Taxi for Pep.

Thats the reason Bayern Munich hissed him off after a relatively short time .

Taxi for Pep .
Taxi for Pep.

The Gorton cabbies are on stand by for when the berties fail .AGAIN . in the C L.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
taxi for pep

taxi for pep..

Posted by: builderboy (2014) Report abuse
I think that Man City fans, and all sensible football watchers will be thinking that they have football's best current coach in Pep.
That being the case I would imagine that the club will stick with him whether they win the Champions League or not this season.
If Jose has been the most successful in the past and he has no clue as to how to make United as good as City why would Man City ever want to get rid of Pep?
City murdered United (and I am a neutral observer) - if anyone genuinely thinks otherwise they need their heads testing.

Posted by: broady (13876)   Report abuse
City are currently a treat to watch. Their bench is packed with players that would be regular first teamers elsewhere.

Posted by: grimshaw (1279)  Report abuse
Because the C L is the berties holy grail.and when PEP fails to provide that, the powers that be at the council house will say get PEP a taxi .That is why B M said thanks but no thanks PEP.

Murdered is O T T.Certainly utd were well second best but murdered ,never, and anyone who says that needs their head testing .

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
how many shots on goal did they have grimshaw??? 1 and that was the penalty...anyone who says different is a L-I-A-R....

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Grim, there are only folk like you and Chatty who think that the CL is regarded by City as the Holy Grail. That is because you have invented a ficticious stick with which you feel you can beat us.

The fact is that a good chunk of Blues (myself included) are pretty apathetic when it comes to the CL. If we win it great, if we don't so what?

Sure, the owners would like to win it but I'm sure they won't lose any sleep if we don't. Pep won't be sacked, any replacement will be a downgrade and our owners don't do downgrades.

As for your uninformed statement,

"Thats the reason Bayern Munich hissed him off after a relatively short time."

It is no secret that we poached Pep from Bayern, in fact if the recent Football Leaks are to be believed he signed a contract with City three months into his final year with Bayern and refused a contract extension with them. They were livid about this and it is a reason why Bayern are currently sticking the knife in.

The ONLY shot yoonited managed in the full 90 minutes was a penalty......so yes, murdered!

Posted by: builderboy (2014) Report abuse
As a neutral observer I stick by my previous assessment.

I know how difficult it must be for United fans and I have many of them as friends. At least they are realists - not like the one eyed bigots on here.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
BUT BUT BUT 0years they've won it 20 times and 3 times

IN THE PAST!

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse

I see it's just the United fans who are one eyed bigots on here then builderboy?

A quick look at the drivel and threads the clown above posts show that's wide of the mark!

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
chatty at least you did the treble LAST century...

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Yea and won a European trophy 2 years ago, not when Kenneth Wolstenholme was doing the commentry.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
chatty clickety

Posted by: grimshaw (1279)  Report abuse
You can stick your previous assessment in the same orifice that the monkeys shove nuts builderboy..

Another deluded Bertie who probably agrees with laughing stock and his pal that the bertie owners will be happy to see other teams win the C L rather than the berties .

If you think that your head needs testing.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse

Posted by: 0 years (3027) Report abuse
Don't read it. Simple.

Posted by: grimshaw (1279)  Report abuse

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse
Not quite that "simple" though, laughing boy hasn't read any of my posts for 18 months (he has me on "ignore")
But his psychic (spelt pyscho) powers means he can respond to my posts as if he's read them!

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
chatty remember how you tried to bully me when i spoke out against trafford, isn't it funny another trafford fan has started to bully someone else? and you are both the same PATHETIC SCROTE'S TRYING YES TRYING AND FAILING MISERABLY TO BULLY US. ANYTIME ANYPLACE ANYWHERE BULLY'S...

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse

Link the post of where I 'tried to bully' you.

Posted by: chatty (6214)  Report abuse

I see, so it turns out the bullying is in the form of someone being accused of something he didn't do.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3948) Report abuse
bet your teeth were gnashing on the football ground thread chatty..
