Correct peawapp with 14 teams in SL and give The Bulls another crack at it. PS If and they will Widnes go down don't let them back up unless they get rid of the artificial rug they play on.

They've got it wrong again.

Unbelievable. Bloody unbelievable!

For a dying game you seem to take an unhealthy interest in RL.

Empty stadiums, Wiggin walks...A far cry from the halcyon days of clever rugby and great, great, players.

It's a tragedy.

Do you think the ďgreatĒ players of yesterday, the Bostons, Van Vollenhoven etc would have lived with the players of today? Not a chance in my opinion. We all idolise the players we grew up with. I find it hard to believe that any players could be better than Hanley, Brett Kenny, Steve Ella, but they will be, and I honestly believe that the 1985 Challenge Cup winning side would still compete & win today but time moves on, nutrition, conditioning etc play a big part. You only have to watch the amateur game, BIG, fast, fit young kids across the board. I sadly missed Billy Bís playing days by a little bit but Iíve seen the footage and, for me, he would have been smashed by some of todayís players. Thatís no disrespect to Mr Boston, just the way I think it is.

Muscleman rugby today.

Fast open running on green dry pitches.

No scrums, no guile, just run run and forward pass.

Today's game is full of forward passes.

And they're getting away with it.
