Wolves

Started by: fireplace6899 (inactive)

A long time ago in fifties Wolves beat top European teams in friendlies.

They thought that they were a top side. Dreams only for the team and fans.

Then came the slide, division 1 to division 4.

On their way down Chorley knocked them out of the FA Cup.

With Bull and Mutch they eventually came back to the Premiership only to go down again, back to Division three.

Currently struggling in Division two.

One of their players got away with causing death by dangerous driving.

Wolves stadium now seats 28,000 people.

At United we have one stand bigger.

I think they should be renamed Wandering wolves

Just got back from the game.

Most of the Wolves players(?)would not get a game on Parsons Meadow.

Hi Grimshaw you didn't mention how your horse fared! Win or /Place.?
What i remember about Wolverhampton Wanderes was a time on tv must have been late 50s when Billy Wright was playing i think it was against a European club and the mist or fog came down ,question did they qualify for European matches back then the sands of time are getting misty for me too now.
