can anyone help please...??
Iíve been searching for my great grandad Daniels grave and I canít locate him anywhere, we have everything from his birth, death and marriage certificates we also have the invoice from his funeral but we have no cemetery or plot...
On the transcript it says Leigh and my nan (his daughter) always said he was buried in leigh but we canít locate it!
Weíve even been into the cemetery but either itís no longer there or it never was!
Is there somewhere we should look next

He is called Daniel Kendrick born 8th Dec 1904 died 4th Nov 1939
His wife was Elizabeth 1910-1963

If anyone could point me to the right direction that would be great
Thanks xx

I looked up Daniel and his Family on the 1939 Index, which was taken on 29th September 1939. He was registered as a Colliery Tunneler, Elizabeth is down as domestic duties, birth 5th February 1910. Eva Kendrick born 21st February 1935 later Carrington, plus one more occupant who is blanked out. If this is the Family that you are asking about, they were living at 266, Mosley Common Road, Tyldesley.
Tyldesley was at the time under the Registration District of Leigh, and considering that Daniel Died only three Months after the Index was taken, It is highly possible that he was buried at a Church in Tyldesley. Hope this helps.

Hi weatherwax and mygriffiths I have searched both cemeteryís online and had no luck. It is the correct family and the one blanked out is my nan Betty Kendrick (later on Higham)
I thought Iíd ask on here due to so much info being in one place, thanks for your replies I will double check again
It does say on his death details on the site Ďfind my pastí the district is Leigh so Iíll look into tyldesley aswell

Thanks for your replies
Weíve been looking for months and always hit the same wall
