I used to be friends with Rita Fletcher who lived in Longfield st in the 40s/50s
There are none of the original houses left in Longfield St or Bolney St there is a new estate built there I am not sure if the names of the streets have been kept though

There is still Longfield Street in New Springs although all the old terraced houses have gone there are a few old houses at the bottom end and half a dozen at the top end. Many of the old families stayed in the area when the terraces came down although the name Fletcher doesn't ring any bells.
