Thanks GB,
I have been looking through old messages but most of those who corresponded in those days have passed on.
I am still here at 98 and hoping for a while longer yet.
My brain is still as active as ever, that is why I am still able to come on WW.
Good wishes everyone.

I echo tuddy's remark and thank you for fighting for the freedom for us to speak English and express our views without fear.

I don't personally know you Norman but immensely respect you....Your views echo common sense and decency and am proud to (at least on here) be associated with you, and can only agree 100% with Broady;s post....good luck Sir.

I'm still here. Keeping up to date with what is going on in WW.
Not as much as there used to be with fewer members and of out of my era. The older ones used to be very active but I know many have passed on.
But to you younger ones I wish you well and keep this WW Active
Roll on the Rugby season.
Best wishes to all.

Hi kathpressey,

Just looking at an old message posted about Marsh Green and Harrow Rd. Pendlebury;s shaw, obrien, Seddon, Higgins, maloney, Atherton, pouncey, Heyes, Lanaghans, Turton,

I was a Turton, youngest of 7 Christine, John, Alan, Janet, Graham, James and me Kathleen. We lived at 21 Harrow Rd in the corner. Next to us was the Pouncey's, Lillian, John and Brian. Next to them the Athertons, Jeff, Anthony, Stephen, David and John. The was the family with 1 daughter, then the Higgins family, Christine and Marjory, I could go on and on, so many happy times there, nothing like today I hear things not great there these days? If you need specific names may be able to help?
