Ball & Liptrot
Started by: jim.orrell (5) Report abuse
I have a family picture in front of a building with
BALL
&
LIPTROT
on a nameplate. Probably Wigan or Standish area.

Any ideas?

P.S. Is there a way to add a pic to the messageboard, although there is not much to distinguish it.

P.S. It would be around 1920.

Many apologies for the delay in replying, been abroad and had a bug. (I also assumed I would get an email notification!! I will have to check out if that is possible)
Thanks for the responses. The family are Fairhursts (Albert+Annie) from Almond Brook, Shevington, but with lots of Standish connections. They had a grocer's shop so would not work at these offices.
