Hello everyone. Has anyone got an original pic 0f Bank Street, Golborne.....NOT the houses between Heath Street and The Royal Hotel, (odd numbers), but the OTHER side of The Royal Hotel towards ASDA....numbers 41-61? Thanks. x.

Irene as you come past asda on your right after about 300yds the road bends to the right. After about another 300yds there is a give way on the road just after that there is a left turn the legion was on this corner on your left

the old legion was on the corner of bank st on the same side as the royal . i worked at golbore pit & had relatives that lived in sycamore crescent just off bank st.

And the jubilee picture house was just 100 yards further down grimshaw st on the same side as the legion...my mum used to live on bank st just before bend to Asda...that was before the war....near duke street...they had a coal lorry...fletchers
