Haigh Hall

What a great place for a day out now with the kids , Some major investment and improvement making it well worth a visit . Council do not always get things right but they certainly have with this one

Looks to be someone making their own decision to block the right of way , now its started and if allowed it will take away our rights of access .
Wonder who will actually actually benefit from the sale ?.

Haigh Hall was never 'given to the people of Wigan'. It was bought off the owner by Wigan council in 1947.
It hasn't been 'sold off' and it remains a government asset.
