The Newton Appley Bridge 1911

Started by: fedup (260)

Searching through some Family History I find a relative working and living at a property known simply as The Newton, Appley Bridge in 1911. It was a private house and the residents were a retired clergyman and his daughter.I live nearby myself but haven't a clue where this was (or is).
Could anyone out there help me place this building please?

Thanks for the replies folks but the mystery has been solved.
The property I was searching for is in Ashfield Terrace and my family history is now updated!.

Interesting , wonder if the property still has the same name today ? Did the retired Clergyman serve locally in Appley Bridge or the main Church at Parbold ?

Sorry but the property is unnamed today, and I have no idea where the retired vicar preached-it was in 1911!
My investigations have now ended.
