Hundred Years Haigh Road Aspull

A friend off mine supplied the photo of No5 pit at Aspull, and as locals call it The One House in 1916,he asked me to take a up to date photo so spanning 100yrs, from the same location ,one in B&W and in colour.
Photos are also on albums/places/under Aspull a few interesting comments.thanks.
The second photo with the Amoco petrol station is 1971.

great pics dave remember the garage, my old school mates dad Alan Latham aka francis Sullivan the wrestler used to have it as used car place if I remember correctly

Thanks all,the car sales was run by Stewert Irelands I have been told blackrodweaver,he just rented it off the late Alan Latham and friend of mine ,worked at is house many times the old estate offices .

I bought a car from the Mount car sales they also had a garage across the road,I think Auntie Wainright used to own them.
