I remember calling in one Christmas day with Pisolivadi and Martin, his houseguest from Ireland. We had spent the day at Piso's house dining on "turkey 'bout legs" (his phrase) with all the trimmings whilst a dvd of The Last Waltz played endlessly. Later Martin wanted cigarettes (he always wanted cigarettes) so we went out to find some. The only place open the the Lady Bowes Lyon so we had a pint to be sociable. Martin's comment was, "So this is how the atheists spend Christmas Day!" Once quaffed it was back to the Ponderosa to watch The Last Waltz. The funny thing was we saw something different every time we saw it (and we saw it a lot!) Great film and a memorable Christmas!

A fine day, indeed, stacker lee. Impromptu always the best!
