I'm not surprised it's closing down! They had a few things in there which were cheap, but most of their stock was dearer than in B&M's just down the road.
When you think about it, they have to get rid of a lot of stuff at 99p to pay their overheads in that big high-street shop!

Last time I was in there they didn't charge me 5p for a bag.

They must be following the rules then. A lot aren't, including Tesco and Asda.
I wonder which supermarket chain will be the first to knock 5p off your bill for each carrier bag you take?

Well i have always been charged here in Wales since it was brought in..
Never given any!! Or been knocked off my bill.
That includes Asda etc.
I always carry my little bag.
I suppose i am asking for funny comments about Wales.
