mortgages

driving through bolton on friday, i passed a muslim estate agency offering mortgages.i dont need one myself, but, i have read somewhere that its a sin to profit on money exchanges, or something of that order. so can anyone tell me, if someone taking out a mortgage, they should consider the islam scheme.is there a catch somewhere??an old lancs saying comes to mind...theres nowt fer nowt !!!

I remember the 1st or one of the 1st lottery rollovers was won by an asian guy from Blackburn, now there was a lot of kerfuffle @ the time because he wasn`t allowed to either gamble or profit, I`m pretty sure (but not certain) that if he was to give away the winnings then that was ok, last i heard he had dissapeared, if that`s true it says a lot about strength of faith.
