As anyone decided not to buy or eat turkey or turkey products ie drummers
and alike.Or will you treat it the same
as mad cow disease knowing it could be
fatal but still consume it,i'm not saying turkey will kill you,but you get my drift.

I thought Turkey was only eaten once a year and we have all just had a gutful of that? Wouldn't bother me if I didn't see another piece of turkey on my plate ever again. Give me a plate of big fat juicy bbq'd prawns any day.

Cooking kills the H5N1 virus but it's wrong that he should continue to bring (possibly) infected meat into the country. I've never bought anything by Bernard Matthews so that in itself won't affect me. I ate meat during the BSE scare and I'm still here. Truth is, with all the sprays, insecticides and other crap that goes onto our food before processing, we don't know what we're eating so why worry? If I do eat turkey I only buy it from King's so I know it's local.

what about the romany delicasy of hedgehog diva, try it before you damn it. smother it in wet clay, then throw it on an open fire and hey presto, a feast that would cost an arm and a leg in any 5 star restaurant. makes my mouth water just thinking about it. at the rate of beef just now, and its still rising, i predict the like of hedgehog will be on many a menue in the non to distant future.
PS..roll on the future.
