i know my previous msg is about entertainers but while im here does anyone know where i can get hold of a video player, the care home i work in has a dvd but we have a lot of video that the residents would love to watch but video players are `out` now so i wondered if anyone knew where i could get one if anyone wants to sell one in good working order im sure i could persuade my manager if the price is right.

maddy, theres one being given away on Bolton freecycle @ as we speak, only thing is you would have to come to Bolton if you wanted it, it is on the Wigan side of Bolton though off Wigan rd (Deane)

Maddy I have one which I do not use so if you can arrange to pick it up or I can bring it to you. It is a Sharp DV 740 in very good condition its yours if you want it, It comes with remote but no instruction book but easy enough to use and free to a good home

If you dont get one maddy, Plumbs Electrical on Woodhouse lane is selling video recorders for 19 quid each, I got one for the back room, they are ex-rental but work great

Thanks for that Maddy, I'm glad its up and running, I forgot to tell you that it has video plus programming in case the residents want to tape Corry or something very easy to do, if you do have any problems with setting the clock or anything just send me an e-mail and I can talk you through it or I will come up and show you what to do, oh and the reason that the remote has a TV part is because it was part of a TV and video package where 1 remote was used for both anyway tell all them lovely ladies to enjoy it
