It looks like a nice, sleepy little hamlet. An American would say, "Wow! what a nice quaint li'l place. I wonder if Her Maaaajesty the Queen lives around that quaaaar-teeeer"? and "Wow! Baaaam-fur-laaaang sounds relly nice too. We really must go there, honey"!

Little do they know it's a hive of thieves, drug-dealers, murderers and general ne'er-do-wells!

Luckily, there are one or two decent people there, which helps to swell the averages!

As eloquent as ever I see Tonker. Talking absolute sh*** as ever. No more or no less of the above than any other place. Now Haydock that's a different den of iniquity altogether.

Morley hall even looks good from the air there.

Anyone can run down an area for multiple reasons, but as Broady says they all level out in various ways....I worked on every Council estate in Wigan Metro and there was good and bad everywhere. I must say more good than bad, but only the bad got the publicity.

Correct Pewfall. I struggled to identify some areas but will have another look later.

Only thing spoiling Abram is its being next to Platt Bridge and the Gypsies camp.
