FLAGS===

Looking at today's PAD I wondered if Saint Matthews has anything flying. I have been told there is lots of bunting and flags out in that area ready for VE Day. Not seen them myself owing to self isolating, anybody seen anything.

Anne, I was looking into who used to live in our house and I found I thread that you were commenting on, we live on ormskirk road, across from the conservative club, the person mentioned was someone called Tommy Hough, any ideas? Cheers Paul

Paul...I can't really add any more than I put on the thread, my husband and I only knew him in his later years when he gave lessons to my husband. Don't know why the links on that thread don't work, they did when I first put them on. They are recordings of Tommy playing. It's most interesting to me to hear of your discovery.

Paul.... I have a recording of him playing it was an amateur recording done by my husband on quite primitive domestic equipment. I can do you a copy. It may be of interest to you as it was done in what will be now your front room. If interested ask admin for my email and we can go from there.
