Exercise
Started by: TerryW (4136) Report abuse
What you all up to while stuck in doors, been doing push up reps, sit ups and running on't spot enough to get a good sweat on and the heart pumping myself. People should watch what they eat if they aren't very active, don't over do it just because you're sat in because it will stay put and make you sluggish. Stay healthy and safe.

I do my circuit in the garage, I also have a bike (not Peleton) for raising the heart rate fast.

I should be exercising I know but I'm never still anyway..

Posted by: firefox (1493) Report abuse
Increasing your heart rate for 10 mins is great. do that a few days a week and in a Month, you will be trebling that.
Well done you.

Don't forget to wear a fresh pair of socks every day too.

You won't be able to get your shoes on by Sunday but your feet wont stink.

Thanks Mr Motivator.

Posted by: TerryW (4136) Report abuse
Cordyline, that's great a few minutes a day on that and you'll be as fit as fleas in no time.

Posted by: Anne (3779)  Report abuse
Cordy I'm surprised she hasn't got a fully working wooden one, made by your own fair hand.

Tom
Wigan has it'sAttractions

However....
I'm rather partial to North Wales, especially the areas around Conway, Deganwy and Llandudno

Should have been going this weekend for a few days to Llandudno but they canceled it and gave a full refund

GREAT 20 minute exercise workout for Beginners and Seniors

I have never got "stuck in doors". I think you would have to be very fat for that to occur.

Posted by: Anne (3779)  Report abuse
I know exactly where you where stood taking that picture cordy, the brollys are a give away.

Posted by: firefox (1493) Report abuse
Was it near the Great Orme, Anne? :D

Posted by: basil brush (13865) Report abuse
I'm still going for my walk in a morning 👍

Posted by: Anne (3779)  Report abuse
Across the road from the pub just after the tram left the station.

Watched on TV, where Matt Hancock said take once a day outdoors exercise: walk run or cycle, then, immediately afterwards TV news showed police turning a lone cyclist round and sending him back home.

Posted by: TerryW (4136) Report abuse
Outdoors exercise is fine in your garden or yard even the balcony if your in a flat.

If you live in india punishment for violating the lockdown rules, besides being hit with a big stick, is press up and sit ups.

Posted by: TerryW (4136) Report abuse
Platty that's the norm for all violations in India, they take no prisoners. I used to watch a programme called Karachi Cops from Pakistan and they were the same, absolutely brutal they are.

We need them over here on our streets.

Posted by: firefox (1493) Report abuse
Don't we have enough bloody Indians?

Posted by: priscus (8257) Report abuse
To go along with our too many chiefs, maybe?

Posted by: TerryW (4136) Report abuse
No not at all, we have loads of room.

Posted by: Platty (229) Report abuse
Firefox, no, Pakistanis.

P.S. Couldn't video my exercise for you today

Should keep us fit

Each day I have four sessions, burning about 60 calories each short spell
Only lost one pound in weight but I will keep at it
The machine make is Reebok; very smooth and better than we expected

Meanwhile to kill time while banged up under house arrest, I have started to make another Adirondack chair - managed to find enough timber lying around [Cedar and White Oak]
