Del-Girl
I heard the very sad news today that the lovely Del-Girl one of the original posters on Wigan world sadly passed away yesterday morning. I first met Adele at one of the WW meet ups years ago. I know she will be missed very much.

What a shock Adele and Graham were lovely people and where two of the original posters. I'm very saddened to hear the news. Had she been ill?
Condolences to Graham and all the family from everyone associated with wiganworld.

Oh no, not Del. I met her in or around 2006 and she was such a lovely, lively and fun lady. So gentle hearted and had a great love for her dogs.
I've "known" her for many years on different forums, and she's been a terrific person to know, so I'm very sad to hear she's died. She couldn't have been very old. Younger than me and I'm 70 now.
So very sorry to hear this. She really was a lovely person.
My sincere condolences to Graham and her children. A great loss to them all.

Thank you admin for pinning this post. As most of you may know Adele suffered with cancer quite a few years ago but sadly it came back with a vengeance recently and was terminal. Adele was just 50 years old and had recently become a grandma again. It's wonderful to read that so many of you have such lovely memories of her....she really was one of the nicest girls you could ever meet. I haven't heard of any funeral arrangements as yet but i will post here when i do. X

Brian and myself have just returned from Adele's Funeral service at the Crematorium. Never seen it that full for any funeral's I've been to before.Just shows how well liked Adele was. The woman who took the service, I don't know who she was, but she was excellent.
R.I.P Adele
