Wigan and Leigh Recovery Teams are hosting a Marketplace of Mental Health Support

Kingsleigh Community Centre, King St, Leigh, WN7 4LJ
 
Come and talk to services in the Wigan and Leigh area that can support mental health issues. Plus meet local dementia and carer support groups; health and educational services and many more!

Wigan Samaritans are based at 73 Dicconson Street, Wigan, WN1 2AT



Wigan Samaritans offer emotional support in person, over the phone, and via email.

Usual hours open to receive callers at the door:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - 9am - 2pm and 6pm - 9pm
Wednesday - 2pm - 9pm
Thursday - Midday - 9pm
Friday - 9am - 9pm
Saturday - Midday - 9pm
Sunday - 10am - 3.30pm

The Sanctuary Wigan and Leigh offers overnight mental health support (8pm - 6am)



Wigan and Leigh residents, or those registered with a GP in the borough, can access the service by calling The Sanctuary on 0300 003 7029 or 01942 410522.

Following a conversation with trained Sanctuary staff, people will then either be offered telephone support or they will be invited to go to The Sanctuary for one-to-one support.

North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provide the following mental health services for the borough:
