Started by: admin (472) Report abuse
Anyone watch programme this last night? Definitely on my bucket list to do the train trip up the inside of the Eiger

Yes! What an interesting programme it was too!
The history of how some of the tunnels were built with just dynamite blasting and then men with picks and shovels in days long gone was fascinating.
Get it booked !

We watched it and really enjoyed it,the work that was put into building
those tunnels was something else..those men were hard working chaps
the mind boggles, and the construction of all the railway lines that were built
just blows your mind..an awful lot of history that the average person never knew about took place,yes...it was a brilliant programme.
