Non Elastic socks
Started by: priscus (7241) Report abuse
(Sometimes called Diabetic socks)

Anyone have any experience of these?

I am not actually diabetic, but do have some other health issues which lead me to be needing to consider these.

Although they seem to be widely available on line, there are widespread complaints in the feedback that although labelled non elasticated, they seem often, in fact to be elasticated!

I have my doubts in respect of the one pair which I have bought so far.

I need more than one pair, and widespread issues of them being not as described is creating a bit of an impasse.

Prescription written by my GP also on two occasions running into impasse.

Have dealt with this by not wearing socks, but it is gerrin a bit cold for that now.

Still on sale in Wigan market about 4 for three pairs. You can also Google soft top socks and you'll find loads of them. Good luck

it depends what your health problem is . my husband had cellulitis and now is more comfortable wearing trainer socks which lie below the ankle.
