APPLEY BRIDGE METEORITE 1914

Started by: admin (1913)

Went to a very informative and enjoyable talk yesterday in the History shop, given by Russell Parry who has written a book about the APPLEY BRIDGE METEORITE. If anyone has any information or photographs. Russell would be interested in seeing them.
If you get the chance to listen to this talk do it, as you will be fascinated. Russell had a couple of Meteorites there which you could hold. What a thrill to hold something that was conceived at the start of the Universe. 4.5 Billion years ago.
