Conkers
On my daily walks I have come across a conker tree 🌳 and it’s full of conkers...I think in another 5 or 6 weeks I’m going to get some and re live my childhood....used to sell them in the playground for 8 a penny....we used to cycle to Pennington park or kenyon for them

Don't they have a gorgeous lustre/patina when freshly 'shelled'. If only it were summut you could transfer to other surfaces.

Last year I parked up on Lord Street in Southport.Just has we were getting out of the car there was a loud bang and on top of the roof was a large conker. This left a small dent in the roof of the car
