interesting this .... not for the fact that
it didn't sell
(see item 10)
... but for the fact it involves Robin Park Lettings.
A 'prefered partner/supplier' of the council who have been involved in many 'acquisitions from' the council in recent times.
Like the former police station in Old road Ashton, reputed to have been sold for a song by the council before being re-purchased at a premium !
Involved in the 're-conversion' of the shops at bottom of Ashton (next to Queens bingo)- a development where the council let them get away with 3 months building without planning permission and then refuse to get them to take down the concrete wall they built across the backs blocking off all public access.
Who are these people Robin Park Lettings and why can they get away with what they want ?
How much of the almost £400000 'profit' on the transaction did/do they stand to rake off ?
I now await for news that Robin Park Lettings (or an associate) have swooped in to take the site off the hands of the council at a knock-down price .... .couldn't happen I here you council-cuddlers (yes that's you StarDelta)say ? ... well what about Ashton town hall then ?
I also await news that they are involved in the plans to build on the Rockleigh Hotel site when it happens, and the Ashton Town footie ground in cahoots with Redrow. You heard it here first.
When will the council do what they're paid to do and listen to the people affected before they plough on with their crusade to try to be seen as the top council in GM ?
Did they win that award they were up for by the way ?
