Very Quiet
Started by: mindar (909) Report abuse
It's been awfully quiet on here for a few days.Where is everyone? I suspect that you are all busy in the garden as I have been.

Posted by: Tommy Two Stroke (2886) Report abuse
Well I have been 'trying'

Posted by: mindar (909) Report abuse
I see you have tom2s. And nearly always informative with the added measure of humour

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse
I've not been on much lately, sick to death of the same people ruining threads, attacking folk and spoiling the site.

Posted by: Tommy Two Stroke (2886) Report abuse
Those bad uns heh ...

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
Two foot of snow on my garden so I have moved south to do some tequila sampling.

Posted by: Tommy Two Stroke (2886) Report abuse
Are there any bad uns there

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse
It's because of those "bad uns" that it's so quiet 🤫

Posted by: broady (13874)   Report abuse
TTS, Not met any yet but with 600+ rooms there must be some. I did hear that the guy in Room number 3 is a bit of a Richard Head.

Posted by: tomplum (4849)  Report abuse
tommy2goode you are a true friend to the forum

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse
Decent posters, like me, don't want to be attacked every time they post,

Posted by: Anne (3369)  Report abuse
Too true about being busy.....decorating bedroom, making curtains, throws etc. for same. Dashing into garden whenever weather permits, Oh and finishing off cardigan knitted over the winter.

Posted by: lectriclegs (3401) Report abuse
A new record for Wigan world, 24 hours between posts on general.

Looks like jarvo's master plan is working.

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse
I wonder if it's anything to do with the weather, just a thought 💭

Posted by: orrellite (2330) Report abuse
Recent survey results might have something to do with it being quiet. and being busy elsewhere.

Posted by: lectriclegs (3401) Report abuse
Are they experiencing different meteorological conditions elsewhere, Orrelite?

Posted by: orrellite (2330) Report abuse
they may be reaching meteoric heights

Posted by: jathbee (9172) Report abuse
Yes busy elsewhere. Mainly gardening. Been pout all day today, only just got back in.

Posted by: mindar (909) Report abuse
Well I've no sitting jobs to do, it's been quiet on that front. Weather forecast is good so I may just do some sitting in the garden instead.

Posted by: jathbee (9172) Report abuse
Just about to do some gardening and then relax with a book. Lovely sitting in the sun.

Posted by: nanajacqui (1733)  Report abuse
Been in garden soaking up the sun & did my lawn with my hoover (neighbours must think I'm crackers)Artificial Turf & plants & never saw a fly, wasp or bee so I'm delighted, can't be doing with anything that flies around me

Posted by: jathbee (9172) Report abuse
I like watching the bees, too busy to bother people. Now wasps on the other hand seem to have only one purpose and that is to upset as many humans as possible. I detest the creatures.

Posted by: nanajacqui (1733)  Report abuse
I knelt on a bee when I was picking four leaf clovers as a little girl & had a very nasty sting jath, hence the reason I don't like them

Posted by: momac (9302)  Report abuse
I got stung with a wasp when I was little and have never trusted them since.
But bees I do like, they've only one purpose, and that's to go from flower to
flower gathering pollen. If we had no bees we would have no food.I keep
honey in the fridge for any bees that I see struggling on the garden path..
It soon brings them round.

Posted by: roylew (2942) Report abuse
Just sat on my balcony...no gardening to do now....a relief to be honest....it was Jeans domain...I just did the mowing and lugging pots about....she’s told me to have a good rest then go for a walk....going to Arnside tomorrow

Posted by: kathpressey (4727)  Report abuse
momac - very true we must love our bees. they say people will last 4 years if we have no bees because they pollinate all our crops. they're welcome in my garden.

Posted by: momac (9302)  Report abuse
Kath,I have just been in the garden and a bee came right up to me..I felt
privileged ..he nearly touched my nose,I've actually seen someone stroke
a bee.I keep saying I'll try that one day but haven't plucked up the courage
yet.ha ha.

Posted by: nanajacqui (1733)  Report abuse
Oh you're braver than me momac, well done

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse
I don't mind it being quiet 🤫 on here

Posted by: jathbee (9172) Report abuse
Been sat watching some burrowing bees in the garden. They are in and out of their burrows foraging among the flowers.

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse
It's better than "some people" causing trouble

Posted by: nanajacqui (1733)  Report abuse
We've been in the garden Jathbee,it's a little sun trap & not a weed in sight with our Astro Turf,no gardening to do any more, only disturbance the phone kept ringing but not complaining

Posted by: jathbee (9172) Report abuse
😴😴😴

Posted by: basil brush (10379) Report abuse

Why doesn't he just return if he feels inclined to do so, and put all this to bed?

Mindar isn't a woman; and it doesn't take a detective to notice that.
