hire a concrete mixer and have a mix of bleach/wateror spray with bleach then use a pressure wash to clean the stone

Call in Aldi they are selling super concentrated Path/Patio and Deck Cleaner £1.99 for 2L and it.s going fast so step in and try one(I've the same problem with north facing flags and it works)

Funnily enough I was in the queue at Aldi yesterday and a guy behind me had some of that patio /Deck cleaner. I'll have to grab some
peter P =wouldn't a pressure cleaner send the gravel flying in all directions?

Kath if you are using the pressure washer to clean the stone so stand back about 4-5ft from the stone and start the m/c.Then just move closer to the stone or use a hose pipe with a good jet

I think I'll give the power washing a miss -- thinking of neighbours' cars!

Kath, does your power washer not have a low pressure setting were you can put a cleaner in water and the pressure washer sucks it in sprays it at a very low pressure.

Kath because you have used a bleach or patio flag cleaner to soak the gravel just tape your garden hose to a stiff brush and scrub your gravel. At the side and back of my bungalow I have gravel and I clean it with the power wash without blasting it all over the place You are only washing the dirt off the gravel not blasting it at point blank range like you would cleaning flags
