Asda is cheper, 18 x 440ml carling £10, 10 x 440ml of Stella £9 and if you buy 3 packs its £21 for Stella,

bargain Booze have never been chep, probably thats why they are going bust,

As you say tomplumb cheaper at Asda, so Bargain Booze simply can't compete.

It depends on what yoo sup, Bargain Booze have had a good offer on for Stella Artois (arrtwa) for ages now, 4 pint cans for £4.99

Man cannot survive on one larger alone. 😂

Same offer has been on Carlsberg Export, 4 pint cans for £4.99 and I am also partial to Budweiser Light, but only in summer

you're right at that Tommy 2 cans, you can get stella at that price in Asda but you have to get the 3 pack deal to get it, If you just want 4 cans of stella BB is best, I'm a Carling Darling so I go to Asda,

We all know pubs are closing down but it comes to something when large off-license chains are going bust

Peter

Itís the parent company thatís in trouble. The wholesale division is a major supplier to pub and restaurant chains, including Wetherspoons.
Itís a text book example of an over ambitious chief executive and useless non executive directors who allowed her to go on an unchecked buying spree of company takeovers. The end result good individual businesses but the head office runs out of cash.

Bargain Booze is not an 'off-licence chain'. They are a buying group. Bargain Booze shops are privately owned by franchisees.
I don't know who owns it now, but it was originally funded by the Hells Angels and was, at one time, owned by Pernod.

Do people still bring in booze and Baccy from abroad to sell?

The chain is owned by Conviviality, which is based in Crewe.
