Billy sez -

Looks like we'll need a load of fresh immigrants to produce the required exports. Because there's been no productivity training given to British youths for decades!

AND they'll have to devalue the pound!

Pound devalued by 20% as soon as referendum result was known and I think that that was done by the powers that be on purpose, to make our exports cheaper for our overseas customers to buy and so increase trade

Did you know that 95% of the exports leaving Southampton are non EU exports and a system for customs pre clearing of non EU exports, is already in operation in this country, the customs stuff is done before the goods leave the factory, so if we have to operate import and export tariffs, if we have a hard brexit, that will be no big deal, because the system to do this already exists

Immigrants will still be able to come here and work, but in return they will just get paid, instead of being granted de facto British citizenship, with all the rights that come with that, which is what happens at the moment

I’m a brexit man..but I think the European leaders will bully us...and it will take a generation before we see the real benefits

I read of splits developing between the EU countries. It will have disappeared in it's current format in ten years. The reason??? Unfettered Immigration. Almost every country is regretting the numbers allowed in.

For or against and everyone has an opinion but why is the loss to the EU never raised by anyone we import more from them than we export to them and contribute more than most.

So it is in the interest of the EU to make sure that trade continues between us and the EU after Brexit, we will then just lose the benefits of being in the EU after we have left...

And the benefits of being in the EU are ?

Dreading it. Nothing good has come out of it so far and can't see how it will make things any better for ordinary people.
