"Chris Boardman, Greater Manchester Cycling and Walking Commissioner..." and he talks about, "my team." What else has Burnham dreamt up? Running and Falling Commissioner?

No wonder we have to pay an extra precept on our Council Taxes. Madness.

I'm far from a fan of Burnham. A proper career politician. Makes me cringe.

It will be built on the grass verge.
Another bit of green replaced with tarmac by the clowncil cretins, I must hold my hand up and say that one thing the clowncil excel at is cutting down trees and destroying what natural habitat we have left.

I for one think this is a good idea to make walking and cycling more attractive, better for health, the environment and wildlife, Perhaps too late to change some but, there are benefits for the Macdonald shaped yoof of today, get them walking or cycling to skool and in the future it will take the stain off the NHS as well as the overcrowded roads, Something needs doing and this is a step in the right direction,

"Oh for crying out loud" stop skrikin about it

"The scheme is part of the Cycle City programme led by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) with Department for Transport funding"

wigan.gov.uk/News/Major-walking-and-cycling-boost-for-Wigan

Council's not paying for it, so stop stop whining about it and I think it is a good idea that they are going to build separate cycle lanes away from the roads AND I hate that stupid 'shared cycle scheme' they built, which narrowed Wallgate and Ormskirk Road
